Dr. Kauvar, a dermatologist, laser surgeon and Mohs (skin cancer) surgeon, is founding director of New York Laser & Skin Care. She has pioneered new laser treatments for wrinkles, sun damage, birthmarks, hair removal, leg veins and tattoos and is actively engaged in the development and testing of new cosmetic procedures, surgical techniques and laser technology. A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Kauvar received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Edward Victor Ross, M.D.
Dr. Ross is the director of the Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology Center at Scripps Clinic in San Diego. His interests include: laser skin resurfacing, fractional laser applications and non-ablative skin remodeling. Presently, Dr. Ross is investigating novel approaches in lipolysis as well as conducting comparative trials of intense pulsed light and laser sources in skin rejuvenation. Mark G. Rubin, M.D.
Dr. Rubin currently practices cosmetic dermatology at the Lasky Skin Center in Beverly Hills and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. A specialist in skin resurfacing, Dr. Rubin has written multiple papers and book chapters, as well as several textbooks on skin rejuvenation. He has also personally trained more than 600 physicians in his technique of skin rejuvenation. Robert A. Weiss, M.D.
Dr. Weiss practices cosmetic dermatology at the Maryland Laser, Skin, and Vein Institute. His present research consists of evaluation of various lasers and light sources for the treatment of photoaging, vascular lesions and pigmented lesions. He has also conducted trials on botulinum toxins and fillers. His newest project is developing better methods for laser lipolysis. Dr. Weiss graduated cum laude from Columbia University and received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology.
